Kostas Kastanas participated in the following films: 

 -"Aphrodite's island" a film of George Skalenakis based on the book of Alexis Parnis with Katina Paxinou, and played the part of David (1971). (Dir. Photog. Nikos Kavoukidis)

- He also participated in the Swedish film "A walk in the sun" with Gosta Eckman and he played the Doctor. (1978)

-"Hellas", a Swedish production shot secretly in Greece during the Dictatorship of the colonels (1969 –The Marathon Runner).  Penguin Films. (Dir. Peter Wester, Dir. photog. Andreas Bellis)
